Scalp Micropigmentation

What is Scalp Micropigmentation?

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) involves the application of pigment to the scalp to create thousands of minute impressions that give the appearance of hair. Each impression resembles an individual hair follicle. The effect of this procedure is so realistic, low-maintenance, and attractive that many people are choosing it even before they begin to experience thinning hair or baldness. This is especially true for men.

This procedure is applied by trained, certified and licensed permanent color technician since 2017, Jessica Johnson. She uses high quality pigments made specifically for the scalp skin and state-of-the-art equipment to create the illusion of hair in a manner that is like an artist’s use of stippling to render a specific pattern and blend into your existing hair for a seamless look.

Scalp Micropigmentation is one of the most preferred hair loss-concealing methods. People usually opt for it when they want a fast and pain-free solution for their hair problems. The procedure is hugely successful, and many choose it over other hair loss treatments.

To create the most natural appearance possible, on average, clients receive 2 to 4 treatments spaced out approximately 14 days between each session, followed by “touch ups” every 2-5 years, if needed.

One of the primary benefits of SMP is simply that it can make a person look much younger, which can boost a person’s self-esteem.

What can Scalp Micropigmentation do?

THICKEN THE APPEARANCE OF HAIR: Even though some people have not lost their hair, they would prefer that their hair is thicker. Thus, making it appear that they have a fuller head of hair. SMP can provide that look whether a person has short hair, long hair, or thinning hair.

RECEDING HAIRLINE: In addition to being able to restore a front hairline for full or partially bald heads, SMP can increase the definition of full front, side, and rear hairlines. For those that prefer a shaved-head look, SMP can provide that look in addition to the look of a buzz cut.

SCARS AND BIRTHMARKS: SMP is very effective at hiding scars and other skin defects. This includes scars from previous surgical procedures, accidents, burns, and birthmarks. Also, it can be used to hide bald patches that appear after shaving the head. The procedure helps cover these scars efficiently and makes them disappear from plain sight.

CROWN BALDING: Crown balding is one of the most common types of degenerative hair thinning and balding, usually making sufferers look older than their years and affecting self-confidence. Our treatment will rejuvenate the look of the crown, giving a completely realistic hairline and the ease of top-up treatment makes it ideal for the slowly developing crown thinning and balding process.

Benefits:

Thickens the appearance of hair definition on hairlines and bald spots.
Camouflage scars or birth marks.
Completed in 2-4 sessions.
Will typically lasts 2-5 years.
No strict lifestyle or daily restrictions.
Low continued maintenance.

Purpose:

SMP functions as a permanent concealer, and the targeted artistic effect is like the visual effect of hair in a manner that is like an artist’s use of stippling to render a specific pattern and blend into your existing hair for a seamless look. This can be done with the hair remaining long or on a shaved scalp.

Process:

The process of micropigmentation is different for men and women. Treatment for men is usually focused on replicating hair follicles. Whereas the primary goal of treatment for women is to decrease the contract between the hair and scalp in places where the hair has been thinning.

Other than that, you are free to do anything without having to worry about spoiling their look.
