About Jessica
Meet the Owner and Founder:
Jessica Johnson is an accomplished Award Winning Esthetician, Permanent Makeup Artist, Educator and Entrepreneur who has made a name for herself in the beauty industry since 2010. She is the founder and sole owner of Living Beautifully Spa, Academy & Permanent Jewelry businesses, which offer a range of services to clients and students.
Jessica has had an impressive journey when her passion for helping others led her to enroll in the Capital School of Esthetics Omaha in 2010, where she graduated with honors and quickly excelled in her career. She began working as a medical esthetician for physicians at a prestigious Med Spa where she developed a number of highly sought-after skills.
In 2015, she fulfilled her dream of opening her own spa and became a successful entrepreneur and leader in the beauty industry. Living Beautifully Spa in Omaha, has since become one of the leading beauty establishments in the area. In addition to running her business, she is also one of the leaders of education in the beauty industry, offering numerous advanced continuing education courses to licensed professionals.
Jessica specializes in anti-aging treatments and repair of sun-damaged skin. Through the pairing of specific skincare products and treatments, her clients feel their skin has been restored and rejuvenated. She encourages clients to take an interest in their skin not only from an esthetic focus, but also as a long-term investment in their health and well-being.
In addition to her accomplishments in esthetics, Jessica expanded her expertise and entered the world of Permanent Makeup also know as Cosmetic Tattoo Artistry in 2017, obtaining 9 certifications and taking advanced classes from well-known PMU Training Professionals in California and Arizona. Jessica is constantly striving to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the beauty industry and has obtained two additional state licenses and now holds four Nebraska state licenses, including Esthetician, Permanent Color Artist, Esthetic Salon, and Body Art Facility.
Her hard work paid off when she won 2nd place in the Master Permanent Makeup category at The Skin Games International Competition in 2022. This accomplishment shows that Jessica is highly skilled and passionate about her profession. Now, as an expert judge on The Skin Games judging panel, Jessica has the opportunity to share her expertise and knowledge with others in the industry. Her commitment to continuing education and excellence in esthetics makes her a valuable asset to the beauty industry.
Jessica is willing to step outside of her comfort zone and take on new challenges. In 2019, Jessica entered the pageant world for the first time and was crowned Miss Omaha for America 2019 and Ms. Nebraska Continents 2020. Her platform and mission is to empower others to become strong, independent, and to improve the quality of their life for themselves and their family. She has also completed volunteer work at The Women’s Center for Advancement and Stephen Center Homeless Shelter, raising awareness for those dealing with domestic abuse and mental health issues.
Jessica has overcome life’s challenges and is now living a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life both physically and mentally while dedicated to making a positive impact in the world. When she’s not traveling or gardening, Jessica loves to make beadwork jewelry inspired by her Native American roots. She’s also an avid fitness enthusiast, volunteer, and pageant queen. It is clear that Jessica’s caring nature and expertise have had a positive impact on the lives of many of her clients and students.
