About Jessica

Meet the Owner and Founder: 

Jessica was born and raised in South Dakota. She is a Lakota Sioux Native American and member of the federally recognized Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. She is extremely proud of her culture and her people.

In 2001, Jessica moved to Omaha, Nebraska with her husband and 3 sons for work. In 2009, Jessica was the general manager of a 18-hole public golf course and found herself unhappy in her personal relationship and professional career. She decided the timing was right to reinvent herself with a career change and leaving a barbarous marriage. These would be monumental decisions she made for herself in order to live her life beautifully happy.

Jessica enrolled in Capital School of Esthetics Omaha in February 2010. She had discovered her true passion and mission for helping others on day one. After she graduated with honors at the top of her class, she began working with holistic physicians at a prestigious Med Spa. It was during this time that Jessica developed some highly sought-after skills. She was a pioneer as one of the first professionals in Omaha to master Microneedling. Jessica was also one of the first to successfully master the tedious skill of applying eyelash extensions.

Jessica excelled quickly at each aspect of her esthetics career. Using the business skills she honed during her golf industry days, Jessica opened Living Beautifully Spa in 2015.Jessica became not only a successful entrepreneur and business woman, she is one of the leaders of education in the beauty industry and offers numerous continuing education courses to licensed professionals, receiving outstanding reviews from her students.

In 2017, she decided to enter the world of permanent makeup also known as cosmetic tattoo artistry and obtained 2 additional state licenses. Jessica now holds 4 state licenses including: esthetician, permanent color technician, esthetic salon and body art facility. She is constantly obtaining countless hours of continuing education to stay up-to-date with the beauty industry.

Jessica believes that beautiful, healthy-looking skin is
a combination of external and internal factors. Jessicas experience in nutrition, gained while working for physicians, gives her the confidence to recommend specific supplements and dietary plans to clients geared toward fixing food allergies and removing toxins from the body.

Jessica specializes in anti-aging treatments and repair of sun-damaged skin. Many of her clients are former “sun-worshippers,” and through the pairing of specific skincare products and treatments, clients feel their skin has been restored and rejuvenated. She encourages clients to take an interest in their skin not only from an esthetic focus, but also as a long-term investment in their health and well being.

She deeply cares about her clients, students and her business, setting high standards for the industry while caring about the moral and ethical standards for the workplace as well as her community.

Personal Life:

In her free time, Jessica is an avid gardener, cook and fitness junkie. Her goal is to live a happy, healthy, fulfilling life after overcome major life challenges. Jessica also loves to make handmade beadwork jewelry stemming from her Native American roots. Sioux Expressions is the name for her creations she gift’s to family and friends. Jessica loves to explore by traveling to new states and countries as often as possible. She is inspired by her three grown sons and her significant other.

Jessica is willing to take on new challenges that push her comfort zone to help others. In 2019, she entered the pageant world in order to advocate for her platforms on a larger scale. She was crowned Miss Omaha for America 2019 and Ms. Nebraska Continents 2020. Her platform and mission is to empower others to become strong, independent and to improve the quality of their life for themselves and their family. 

She has also completed volunteer work at The Women’s Center for Advancement and Stephen Center Homeless Shelter. Jessica continues to raise help and awareness for those dealing with domestic abuse and mental health issues.

Jessica has helped thousands of clients and there is nothing she cannot fix. She figures out a way by research and conducting her own studies. She thrives on the challenge,  that’s what makes her the #1 Esthetician in Omaha.
